A Los Angeles area mansion recently became the most expensive sale ever listed in Los Angeles County.
When it comes to expensive mansions, Los Angeles is definitely one of the first cities that come to mind. It should be unsurprising then, that a Malibu estate formerly owned by Kurt Rappaport, the CEO of Westside Estate Agency, recently sold for the hefty pricetag of $120 million.
The land was originally purchased by Rappaport for $6.8 million in 2007, who collaborated with architect Scott Mitchell, to create the seven-bedroom, modern beach home in the photos.
The 15,000 square-foot estate sits on six acres, and features a 168-foot-long infinity pool, a home theatre, and two guest suites. The home was featured in Architectural Digest in 2014, and is said to have the longest residential swimming pool in the state.

Just below the palatial estate is a separate beach house that Rappaport previously used as a guesthouse. That home is 3,305 square feet, with four bedrooms, ocean views throughout, a gym and gardens. It just closed at $12 million, and was originally purchased by Rappaport in 2015 for $7.7 million.
Say what you will about the real estate market, but things are booming over in Malibu.via ]
