The previous home of the Campbell’s Soup heiress has hit the market in Rhode Island.
Its pretty safe to say that every person born in America has heard of Campbell’s Soup, whether they have actually eaten it, or are just familiar with the famous Andy Warhol painting of Campbell’s soup cans.
The Campbell’s company has been around for a long time, and thus it’s no surprise that the late heiress of the company, Dorrance Hill Hamilton was not only a billionaire, but had the real estate chops to prove it.
Her 10,000 square-foot home known as the Bird House, was custom built in 2012 with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms sitting on 3.5 acres in Newport, Rhode Island.
The home also features a massive stone fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the ocean, a chef’s kitchen, library, and a small pond.
If you look at the photos you can easily see why it was called the Bird House. The mansion is located at 70 Beacon Hill Road, and is on the market at $12.5 million.via ]
