Taking a bath is a lost art to many people, but I am definitely not one of them. I take a bath almost every night, for multiple hours at a time. I find I do my best thinking in the bathtub, not to mention it is great stress relief from my fast paced life of Internet writing.
To me, bathtubs are a thing of beauty, and a non-negotiable whenever I move into a new place.

Many new constructions these days are eschewing the idea of a bathtub altogether in favor of a more practical shower. There is definitely something to be said for a beautifully shaped bathtub though, and designers are taking this challenge head on by designing some gorgeous tubs that verge on art.
