A firehouse in Brooklyn was renovated to become a modern home.
I don’t know about you, but living in a renovated firehouse has always been a pipe dream of mine. Located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, this 19th century firehouse was completely renovated on the inside and converted into a modern home.
The two-story structure features whitewashed interiors drenched in natural light, a minimalist design aesthetic, and an open floor plan on the main floor, with spaces for sleeping and bathing upstairs.
The new home also features a rooftop pavilion with the master suite that opens up to a beautiful terrace.
Say what you will about converting historical buildings into homes, but if you are going to do it, this is the proper way.
